Software

The X-Ray Pebble Tomography Software (XPETS) is a 3-module code written in MATLAB.

• Module 1 processes 2D x-ray images and locates the endpoints of the tungsten wire used to instrument the test pebbles.
• Module 2 calculates the system geometry from calibration images, and reconstructs the 3D pebble bed.
• Module 3 generates pebble displacement data from multiple 3D pebble bed reconstruction.

XPETS is open source and can be found on GitHub.
